The most important thing for blogs is content that's updated frequently. If you're interested in making money, then you should also be concentrating on a high dollar niche. What I mean by a high dollar niche is a speciality type of subject that involves profitable products or services. Then you can run Google's Adsense ads on your blog. As visitors read your blog, you'll get readers who will click on the Adsense ads which will relate to your content. If your content discusses high dollar products and services, then the ads will likely be similar. So when people click on the ads, Google will reward you with some money. The higher dollars items will bring in the most money for clicks.
